Business capabilities
- Screen-based and guest-phone conversational access — one assistant, reachable from shared screens, in-room screens and personal devices.
- Multilingual spoken guest support and property information — natural voice interaction in supported languages, covering amenities, dining, schedules and local activities.
- Service-request initiation — housekeeping, maintenance and other requests raised conversationally rather than through a phone queue.
- Booking workflows — restaurant reservations, spa treatments and activity arrangements handled through the hotel's service workflows.
- Reservation-aware guest context — available when the concierge is linked with a property system.
- Confirmation, status and handoff — requests are confirmed to the guest, status information can be provided, and items requiring judgement pass to staff.
How it works
- Arrival and orientation. A guest approaches a lobby screen or opens the assistant on their phone and asks, in their own language, about check-in times, Wi-Fi, breakfast service or the pool schedule.
- Property and local questions. The concierge answers from property information — amenities, dining options, opening hours and local activities — without the guest needing to find a directory or call the front desk.
- Reservation-related questions. Where a property-system link exists, the guest can ask about their own reservation and receive a response grounded in that context.
- Raising a request. The guest asks for extra towels, reports a maintenance issue, or requests a dinner reservation or spa treatment. The concierge captures the request and initiates it through the relevant service workflow.
- Confirmation and status. The guest receives confirmation that the request was submitted, and can ask for status where the underlying workflow exposes it.
- Handoff. Requests that need human judgement, approval or a physical presence are routed to the appropriate staff member rather than resolved automatically.
Who it serves
| Role | Interaction with the concierge |
|---|---|
| Guest | Speaks with the concierge from a screen or personal phone; asks questions and raises requests. |
| Front desk and concierge staff | Receives handoffs for requests that need judgement, approval or personal attention. |
| Housekeeping and maintenance teams | Receives initiated service requests through existing operational workflows. |
| Food, beverage and spa teams | Receives reservation and activity requests routed through the property's booking workflows. |
| Property operations and IT | Configures supported languages, access points, permissions and the integrations the concierge may act through. |
Systems and integration
The concierge connects hotel information with reservation context and service-request workflows through approved property and operational interfaces. Guest inquiries are answered from maintained property knowledge, while authorized actions are routed to the relevant housekeeping, maintenance, dining, spa or front-desk workflows. Permissions and explicit confirmations govern guest-specific requests.
- Property-system linkage for reservation-aware context. Without it, the concierge answers from property-level information.
- Service-workflow connectivity for housekeeping, maintenance, dining, spa and activity requests. Without it, the concierge can inform and hand off, but cannot initiate the action itself.
Permissions matter as much as connectivity. A property may choose to allow information requests while keeping booking or service initiation under staff control, or to enable specific request types only. The concierge is designed to operate within those boundaries rather than around them.
Business value
The hospitality concierge connects multilingual guest conversations with property knowledge and service workflows. Guest requests reach the relevant hotel functions, while staff work from structured records for housekeeping, dining, reservations, activities and service follow-up.
